TeleComp Provides Key Breakout Session at Arkansas IT Symposium Featuring UAMS Case Study

April 18, 2019 – TeleComp attended the annual Arkansas IT Symposium held on April 3, 2019, at the Embassy Suites in Little Rock, AR and provided a key breakout session for the conference featuring Shawn Bynum, Director of Unified Communications at UAMS.

Bynum shared a case study presentation on the successful implementation of their Mitel UC phone system by a team consisting of UAMS, TeleComp and Mitel IT Staff.

UAMS has over 10,000 users among 15 buildings at their headquarters in downtown Little Rock, as well as 30 unique call centers. TeleComp IT Staff worked with a team of Mitel and UAMS staff to replace four different phone systems, each by a different manufacturer, with one comprehensive Mitel solution.

The solution’s features included a SIP protocol and a primary core and a secondary core for redundancy, including additional locations across the state of Arkansas.
