  1. 911

Customer acknowledges that TeleComp’s hosted phone service is internet based and that calling 911 from TeleComp’s service is different from that provided by traditional providers of local telephone services.  For 911 to work correctly, the Customer must register the physical location of each phone line that will be used with TeleComp’s hosted phone service.

Customer acknowledges that TeleComp’s hosted phone system has the following limitations:

911 service will not work if you experience a power outage.

911 service will not work if your network is congested

911 service will not work if you lose your internet connection for any reason.

911 service will not work if you experience an outage for any reason.

911 service will not work if your service is disconnected for any reason.

911 service will not work correctly if you move your phone from the original location.

911 service will not work when the TeleComp mobile app is used unless wireless service is available.

Customers uncomfortable with these limitations must maintain an alternative means of calling 911, such as a cell phone:

In areas where only basic 911 service is available; the emergency operator may not be able to see your phone number or your location.  TeleComp does not control whether the emergency operator receives your phone number or location.  You should always be prepared to provide the emergency operator with you phone number and location.
