Gino Capito, CTO
Gino Capito is the chief technology officer at TeleComp. In this role, Capito leads TeleComp’s internal data and security infrastructure, cybersecurity compliance, software development, and solution design divisions, oversees the company’s diverse product portfolios and strategies, and works closely with channel partners to drive software innovation.
Capito is the initial founder of TeleComp, and over the last 23 years, has been instrumental in supporting the company’s growth to 7 branch offices across three states and several data centers with more than 250 virtual and physical servers.
Previously, Capito worked as a network engineer and co-founder of Platinum Technologies; a company focused on networking, servers, and Cisco VoIP. In 2003, he and a partner acquired Dixieland Computers and merged all client bases into what is now known as TeleComp.
Gino serves on the Computer Information Systems Advisory Boards of the Northwest Technical Institute and Northwest Arkansas Community Colleges and provides technical counsel to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s technology program. Capito has also held positions on the Mitel Technical Advisory Board and the Mitel Documentation Task Force. He is Co-Author of “From Exposed to Secure“, Amazon’s Best Selling book in 3 categories and was featured in Arkansas Money & Politics magazine’s 2023 C Suite edition, highlighting outstanding executives in the state.
Capito studied computer science and mechanical engineering at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He holds several industry certifications from Cisco, Extreme, VMware, Mitel, Microsoft and HPE in various technologies including Server, Networking, SAN, Virtualization, Cloud, Switching, Routing, Security, SD-WAN and VoIP.
