Gino is one of the founders and acting Chief Technology Officer of TeleComp. He is responsible for the Engineering and Professional Services divisions incorporating Networking, Voice, Hosted, Managed Services and Bandwidth departments. He has a rich background in Mechanical Engineering & Computer Programming that goes back to his teenage years. Over the years, Gino has cultivated a loyal following of hundreds of customers who have enjoyed world class, service. His personal reference list reflects over 20 of the Fortune 500 companies.
Gino started in 1990 as a Mechanical Engineering Technician with Little Rock based Orbit Valve Co. designing petro-chemical valve systems for domestic and international clients. Desiring to get into the computer industry, Gino accepted a position with Dixieland Computers in 1998, the company in which he and business partner Roger Thomas eventually purchased. In 2001, he started his own company Platinum Technologies, focusing on network and systems consulting which was later sold to a local technology firm.
In addition to being a Microsoft Certified Professional in several areas, a Cisco Certified Network Associate, Gino studied Engineering & Computer Science at the University of Arkansas for 8 years. He is also certified in every Mitel track including sales, technical and advanced for Cloud, Premise, Contact Center and Mobility.
He also serves on the Computer Information Systems Advisory Boards of the Northwest Technical Institute and Northwest Arkansas Community Colleges. In addition, Gino holds positions on the Mitel Partner Technical Advisory Council (PTAC) based out of Sunnyvale, CA and the NWA Tech Council steering committee.
